In this podcast, students Ilvie, Hanna and Hannah take listeners on a journey to Australia. They introduce key facts about the country, including its location, major cities and unique wildlife. They also present famous places such as Bondi Beach, the Whitsundays and Uluru, highlighting Australia’s diverse landscapes.
The main part of the podcast is an interview with Ms Ferk, who travelled around Australia for a year. She shares her personal experiences and answers questions about nature, cities, daily life, culture, food and language. The students also explore Aboriginal culture and its connection to Uluru.
The podcast offers authentic insights into Australia and shows how students can develop language skills, cultural understanding and media competence through creative work.
